Diverse backgrounds and disciplines with one common goal

Our people are experts in their respective fields. We continually question and learn from each other, our industry, customers and own experiences to deliver a visual revolution with holographic technology.

Introducing VividQ

We cannot define VividQ with small epsilons and deltas so here's our best effort to show what working for us is like.

We are a deep tech start-up, so when you join us, you can expect a fast-paced environment with an emphasis on agility, collaboration and innovation. This allows us to develop and implement ground-breaking solutions and move quickly to deliver on the potential of holographic technology.

“We are working towards something that all of us deeply believe in. We want to bring about technological revolutions that will affect the landscape of the world for generations to come and fulfil the science-fiction fantasies of many great thinkers that came before us.”

Who we hire

We hire smart, unique, open-minded people to create an environment where everyone’s voice matters. Your opinion will count, right from day one, but expect to justify your point of view. Agile sets the tone of our work, prioritising collaboration and transparency. Sharing is a first principle – you’ll need to communicate, act with integrity and be ready to change the future.

We are all passionate about the journey we are on, and like to have a good time, plus a little weirdness goes down well…

Agile working

We use Scrum and Agile to plan and prioritise work across the business. These processes allow our teams to self-organise to deliver the most valuable work in the most efficient way. Thus ensuring everyone understands what the business needs to achieve, and can contribute their expertise and knowledge of the best way to achieve it.

Agile enables us to quickly adapt to new information and changing circumstances, and brings out the creativity and collective intelligence of the business, but it requires a great deal of self-discipline, clear and honest communication, respect and mutual trust - from the most senior roles through to graduates. Every voice is valued.

Diversity & Inclusivity (D&I)

We strive to build a culture with integrity, where high ethical standards play a key part in the development of the business. This is more than just following a set of rules. It requires our code of conduct to continuously reflect who we are, what’s important to us, and how we all build a company that we are proud to work for.

As an equal opportunity employer, we will support and encourage you to perform to your full potential. We are building a workplace where everyone is respected, regardless of age, (dis)ability, gender, race, ethnic or cultural background, religion or belief, or any other factor.

As we grow, we continue to expand the range of people-centric benefits that we offer:

"VividQ has been the most nurturing and supportive company I have ever worked for in my career, I feel I can contribute ideas with the expectation that I will always get a constructive and collaborative response. The empowerment and trust given to me from the outset, because I am recognised as the skilled person who knows the most about my area of expertise, has been unseen at any other company I have worked for."

INTERNSHIPS

Internship Programme

Over the past few years, VividQ has successfully supported talented interns each year to work on a variety of projects.

We post details of our internships programme, typically towards the end of January. Please do not send us a speculative application but wait for these roles to become advertised.

“I joined VividQ as a Software Developer Intern where I worked on creating demo experiences that showcase the potential for Computer Generated Holography (CGH) in AR Gaming. At the end of my internship, I accepted a full-time role at VividQ as a Junior Content Developer where I continue to create immersive AR games and experiences using CGH.”
